Terms of Service
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using inflfeed (the “Service”), and the rights and obligations of users and the operator.
Article 1 (Purpose and scope)
These terms exist to set out the conditions and procedures for using the Service, and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of users and the operator.
Matters not covered by these terms follow applicable law and commercial practice.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means inflfeed, which gathers and displays public posts from the creators a user has chosen.
- “User” means a person who uses the Service under these terms, including a person browsing without logging in.
- “Creator” means an individual, team, organisation or channel a user chooses to gather posts from.
- “Post” means a piece of writing or a video made public on a platform, together with its title, description and preview image.
Article 3 (Posting and amendment of these terms)
The operator posts these terms on a screen of the Service.
The operator may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law. When amending them, the operator states the effective date and the reason, and gives notice on a screen of the Service from seven days before that date. For amendments unfavourable to users, notice is given from thirty days before.
A user who does not agree to an amendment may stop using the Service and ask to close their account.
Article 4 (What the Service does)
The Service gathers public posts from the creators a user has chosen and shows them in the order they were published. It provides each post’s title, description and preview image together with a link to the original, and does not reproduce the full original in its place.
The Service handles only posts made public on each platform. Private posts, replies and content reposted by someone else are not gathered.
Gathering runs on a schedule. A post may not appear in the Service the moment it is published, and posts published since the last run may not be there yet.
The Service is free of charge. If paid features are introduced, the operator gives notice in advance and obtains any consent required.
Article 5 (Accounts)
A user may browse the Service without logging in. In that case the chosen creators and the read and saved history are kept in the user’s browser, and are lost when the browser’s data is cleared.
Logging in with a Google account moves the chosen creators to that account so they carry across devices.
A user must not let anyone else use their account, and must tell the operator immediately on learning that the account has been misused.
Article 6 (User obligations)
A user must not do any of the following.
- Querying the Service in bulk by automated means, or gathering or copying the Service’s data without permission
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
- Misusing another user’s account, or accessing it without authorisation
- Acting in breach of applicable law or these terms
Article 7 (Rights in posts and takedown requests)
Copyright and other rights in the posts the Service displays belong to the people who made them and to the platforms concerned. The operator claims no such rights.
The Service displays the creator and the source together, and provides a link to the original.
A rights holder who does not want their posts, name or photograph displayed in the Service may request a takedown at the contact address below. The operator stops displaying the creator and the posts concerned once the request is confirmed.
Article 8 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
The operator may change what the Service provides, or stop providing it. Changes or suspensions with a significant effect on users are announced in advance.
Where there is an unavoidable cause such as a natural disaster, a power failure, an equipment fault or a fault in a third-party service, the Service may be suspended temporarily without prior notice.
Article 9 (Limits of liability)
The Service only gathers and displays posts made public on each platform. It does not warrant that a post’s content is accurate, current or fit for a particular purpose.
The operator is not liable for gathering being stopped or delayed by a platform’s policy change or fault. This does not apply to loss caused to a user by the operator’s intent or gross negligence.
Article 10 (Governing law and disputes)
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea.
Disputes about use of the Service are to be resolved by good-faith discussion between the operator and the user. Failing agreement, they are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
Article 11 (Language)
These terms were written in Korean and may also be provided in translation. If a translation and the Korean version differ in meaning, the Korean version prevails.
